Volunteer Opportuities

Role and Responsibilities

Volunteer roles are a vital part of our daily operations at The Hub, and we offer several volunteer opportunities throughout the academic year. Below are some of the general responsibilities of a volunteer:

Responsibilities: 

  • Shall work at The Hub at least an hour/week for the duration of the quarter
  • Shall report to and act under the direction of The Hub staff
  • Shall assist staff with space maintenance and activities
  • Shall be responsible for providing good service during their scheduled shift
  • Shall currently be a registered UC San Diego student

Positions

Daily Operations Volunteer

Assist an hour/week with space maintenance and student engagement at The Hub. You may also assist in outreach such as on-campus tabling/information session events and other campus events, if needed. Food Distribution Volunteer

Assist one hour/week with food distribution activities, cleaning, and customer service at The Hub and Graduate Housing Triton Food Pantry (located at 3605 Miramar St.).
