Items Offered

The Triton Food Pantry offers an array selection of food items through our two locations:

Student Center A and Graduate & Family Housing OMS Pantry

Below, are some items the Triton Food Pantry can offer through their hours of operation for your allotted 15 weekly points:

  • Snacks and cereal
    • Granola bars
  • Refrigerated cheeses, frozen meats, tofu
  • Canned items: canned vegetables (corn, green beans), canned soups
  • Beverages: juices and milk
  • Dry shelf long items
    • Pasta, beans, rice, lentils, oats
  • Cultural Reflective Items
    • Spam
    • Tortillas
    • Tapatio
    • Soy sauce
  • Fresh produce (no point value, limits apply)

The Triton Food Pantry is always looking for ways to continue expanding!

Partnerships

The Triton Food Pantry is intentional regarding who they purchase from. Below are our current list of partnerships that the Triton Food Pantry partners with to support students at UC San Diego.


  • Foodshed Cooperative
    • The Triton Food Pantry supports Foodshed Cooperative by purchasing locally grown organic produce. Majority of the farms sourced to provide the produce are BIPOC owned and we aim to continue partnering with them to sustain local farms and workers in an equitable manner.   • San Diego Food Bank
    • The Jacobs and Cushman San Diego Food Bank provides low-cost and large bulk food items that supply the Triton Food Pantry. Their partnership is essential in maintaining our free food services for UCSD students.
